Guitar Hero: On Tour

For all you Nintendo DS fans out their Guitar Hero is coming. That’s right a new guitar hero game solely the Nintendo DS. The game is called Guitar Hero: On Tour, and in my opinion this game is a lot easier for beginners than the other games on the other consoles are.

The main reason for this is because firstly this game features a unique style of playing. The fret buttons are a add on in the game which you must plug into the GBA slot on the Nintendo DS. There are only four fret buttons and they are a lot closer together which makes them easier to hit. You also get a special guitar pick shaped stylus which you use for strumming on the guitar which is on the right screen, while the notes are on the left screen (Nintendo DS is held vertically).

It has been announced that the game will be released on the 22^nd June 2008 in North America. However unfortunately there is no release date for Europe, ….. or anywhere else for that matter. So we are probably looking for the game to come out in late 2008 or early 2009 at the latest.

This game also includes unique features, such as to get star power you can yell “Rock Out!” into the microphone and other great stuff. There will be more that 20 unique tracks on the game and according to guitar hero’s official website the game will include “the most diverse set of master tracks ever on a Guitar Hero game”.

So until winter 2008/2009 you are going to have to wait for my review on this game. Until then!
